Data Analyst

This position is for a proposal with the Army National Guard Bureau (new program). We expect the award around the June timeframe with positions to start soon after.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years total experience with 1 years within DoD environments
• 2 years analyzing operational data for pattern identification
• 2 years cleaning and preprocessing complex datasets
• 2 years performing statistical analysis and data modeling
• 2 years developing dashboards for performance indicators
• 1 years collaborating with subject matter experts on requirements
• 1 years conducting geospatial analysis for planning
• 1 years implementing basic machine learning algorithms
• 2 years performing data mining and exploratory analysis
• 2 years communicating technical findings to non-technical audiences

Required Technical Skills:

• 2 years proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• 2 years knowledge of statistical programming (R, Python)
• 3 years experience with Microsoft Excel advanced functions
• 2 years experience with SQL and database manipulation
• 1 years experience with geospatial analysis tools
• 1 years experience with basic machine learning implementation

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience, with 1 year within DoD
• Secret Security Clearance Required

Required Certifications:

• None specifically required

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
• Tableau Desktop Specialist
• SAS Certified Data Scientist

Security Requirements:

• Secret Security Clearance required
• Compliance with DoD, FedRAMP, and NIST security standards
• Demonstrated experience with AT/OPSEC requirements including:
  • AT Level 1 training completion
  • Successfully passing background checks for installation access
  • Experience with security awareness training programs
  • Proven ability properly handling sensitive information

Communication and Organizational Skills:

• Demonstrated collegiate-level writing skills
• Proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
• Experience working within military organizational structures
• Track record of effective interaction with stakeholders at various levels
• History of timely and accurate reporting and documentation
