Job Overview
The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Extended Learning Academy, ensuring compliance, maintaining relationships with schools and parents, and implementing program design at the site level. The Site Coordinator will also supervise facilitators and volunteers, coordinate site activities, and manage administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfill site coordinator role: Develop efficiencies, call necessary meetings, and communicate with parents.
  • Maintain compliance of site: Ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Maintain relationships: With schools, parents, and the broader community.
  • Implement program design: Oversee the execution of educational programs and activities.

Essential Functions

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with schools.
  • Attract and enroll new students.
  • Regularly review and ensure the site meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage meal planning and distribution.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations and activity schedules.
  • Maintain inventory and proper usage of tech resources.
  • Maintain concerns documents, student files, and communicate with parents or social services.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for student support.
  • Organize and oversee educational outings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data.
  • Maintain accurate records in educational systems.
  • Prepare and distribute educational resources.
  • Conduct training for new staff and volunteers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Assist facilitators in delivering educational content.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with parents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Understanding of child development and educational practices.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to after school programs and child care.
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with children and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Must pass a background check and have a clean criminal record.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
  • Available to work 12 Noon to 6:30 pm (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $18.00 per hour
