What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Preschool Teacher position at KnowledgeTree Children's Academy?
We are looking for substitutes to add to our sub pool. This would be an on call position, some shifts will be scheduled ahead of time.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work alone or with another teacher in different classrooms.
- Provide daily intake to children, comments and close communication with parents.
- Maintain records on each child’s progress and development for planning and evaluation.
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing center standards.
- Be flexible
Qualifications and Skills
- MUST have at least 12 Core ECE Units
- We prefer 2 or more years of experience working in a child care center
- Be able to lift at least 45 lb weight
- Team Player
- Be able to Provide Health report and TB clearance.
- Have current certification in pediatric first aid, CPR or willing to obtain
- Positive and motivated attitude is very important
- Open-minded for new challenges and learning
- Clean and organized
- References from previous employers
- Willing to have a work interview
