This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of facility support equipment. The successful candidate will assist in all phases of moving and assembling equipment and furnishings throughout the facility, including running conduit, hydraulic lines, air lines, etc.

Two year technical degree or three years of experience maintaining systems in a manufacturing environment. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems. Experience with PLC's preferred. Basic computer operation, experience with using software in manufacturing operation. Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Provide production operation support by performing PM's on equipment, i.e. cleaning, changing out motors, filters, bulbs, etc.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
- Maintain equipment in an energy efficient, safe manner, keeping down time to a minimum.
- Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
- Work independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Provide training and support to co-workers and operators.
- Prepare hazardous waste for proper disposal/shipment according to policy.
