Department: Advance Manufacturing Engineering
Location: Itasca, IL
This position has responsibility to design and implement product test solutions. The candidate will work on system requirements, software, firmware, or hardware solutions. The candidate will also work with other key Test Group members to define next generation test systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop Test solutions for both production and R&D prototypes.
· Develop complete implementation packages to enable replication of production designs by other teams/groups. (Schematics, block diagrams, database information, and related documents).
· Follow departmental processes for test development including processes for design reviews, configuration management, requirements management and system qualification.
· Provide guidance to technicians.
· Perform statistical analysis to characterize and validate test systems.
· Build and maintain cross-functional working relationships with other groups both locally and abroad.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering plus with 2 - 5 years of experience developing automated test solutions.
· Preferred, but not needed experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, and or Altium Designer.
· Experience designing, building, and debugging electronic systems using digital oscilloscopes, power supplies, and standard small signal electrical lab equipment.
· Experience with microprocessor programming, and or system on chip (SoC) programming.
· Knowledge of audio or signal processing techniques, analog/digital conversions.
· Preferred, but not needed experience of structured hardware and software principles and methods.
· Preferred, but not needed experience of digital design techniques.
· Preferred, but not needed experience of transducers and acoustics is desirable.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Pay Parency and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $ 105,000.00/yr.This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range and serves as a general guideline.
