Description
Conducts variety of electronic tests on parts to ensure unit functions according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Reads testing schedules, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
- Tests functional performance of parts under specified environmental conditions such as temperature change, vibration, pressure, and humidity.
- Calibrates test instruments according to specifications.
- Connects unit to test equipment.
- Reads dials and digital displays that indicate electronic characteristics such as voltage, frequency, distortion, inductance, and capacitance.
- Compares results with specifications and records test data or plots test results on graph.
- Analyzes test results on defective units to determine cause of failure.
- Maintains manual or computerized records of production and inspection data.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting hourly pay for this role is targeted to be between $19.50 to $20.50.
