Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cabinetry Designer and Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with builders and their clients (homeowners) to design and sell whole-house cabinetry solutions, including kitchens, bathrooms, pantries, laundry rooms, built-ins, media centers, and home offices. With a dedicated logistics coordinator managing project details, you’ll focus on design, sales, and creating exceptional customer experiences. Upon hire, you will be assigned accounts that provide a steady flow of projects, ensuring consistent opportunities for success.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners referred by builders, providing guidance through the design and selection process.
- Build strong relationships with assigned builder accounts and their clients to ensure continued collaboration and satisfaction.
Design Expertise:
- Utilize Design 2020 software to create detailed cabinetry layouts and visual renderings tailored to each client’s space and style preferences.
- Ensure designs adhere to builder specifications, budget requirements, and functional needs.
Sales:
- Present designs and proposals to clients, effectively communicating product benefits, pricing, and project details.
- Close sales by providing a seamless and confidence-inspiring experience for homeowners.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the logistics coordinator to ensure timely delivery of materials and successful project execution.
- Work with the Knox Cabinet Company team to resolve any design or material-related challenges.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain expertise in Knox Cabinet Company’s product offerings, including cabinetry styles, finishes, and accessories.
- Stay informed about trends in cabinetry design to offer innovative and attractive solutions.
Experience and Skills Required
Experience:
- Proficiency in Design 2020 software is required, with demonstrated ability to create accurate and visually appealing layouts.
- Experience working directly with builders and homeowners on custom projects is preferred.
Skills:
- Design 2020 software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients and builder partners.
- Exceptional design skills with a keen eye for detail and functionality.
- Sales acumen, with the ability to confidently present designs and close deals.
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Compensation
- Compensation Package: The package will be tailored to align with the qualified candidate's experience and their preference for a commission-based structure or a draw against commission.
