Overview & Schedule
- This is a very unique, engaging and fun position for the right person. If you truly enjoy operating & fixing a wide variety of large and small equipment that is used for snow, rain, dirt, grass and asphalt, then this position is for you!
- No two days are the same! This position not only operates, it maintains the equipment and the entire airport facility, while working with customers, the FAA, TSA and airline personnel.
- To be successful this person must have the ability to troubleshoot issues related to the equipment and airport facility, while maintaining professional. Basically, unless there is a major heavy equipment fix needed, the specialist will dismantle the equipment, find the root cause of the issue, order parts and reassemble the equipment.
- This position is on-call. Typically, calls come in during an emergency which is usually due to inclement weather. This roll share on-call duties with other team members and based on history, there are very few on-calls made every year.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1-year prior related work experience
- An understanding of mechanics, carpentry and equipment operations
Compensation/Benefits
- The hourly pay range is $19.89 - $27.85, pending experience. We factor in all related experience,
