What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Technician - Columbus, GA position at KNOX PEST CONTROL AND LAWN SOLUTIONS?
The ideal candidates will possess a working knowledge of lawn and ornamental services. On the job training will be provided to candidates selected without experience. You will be responsible for servicing customer lawns on your route as you apply fertilizer, treat weeds, and perform other professional applications while ensuring outstanding customer service.
Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record, be able to lift 50 lbs., like to work outdoors and be able to meet company performance standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Complete fertilization and weed control applications
- Ornamental tree and shrub treatments
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
- Communicate with customers daily
- Safe utilization of all company equipment including trucks, spreaders, sprayers.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver License & Clean Driving Record
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Must be able to operate a mid-size truck, and learn to operate motorized equipment
- Work effectively with office personnel and team members
- Punctual, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks without immediate supervision
