What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Chief Nursing Officer position at Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine?
Full Time - Chief Nursing Officer RN Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility.
Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and / or substance use disorder. The Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department(s), including all aspects of patient care, budgeting, staffing and quality assurance.
The Chief Nursing Officer provides the framework for the strategic goals of the department.
Reports to CEO / Administrator. Qualifications :
- Minimum Education : BSN required Master's degree of Nursing Science preferred.
- Minimum Experience : 5 years' experience in an acute care psych facility.
Management experience is required.
BLS through the American Heart Association required within 2 (two) weeks of employment; mandatory certifications for relevant requirements within 12 months of employment. Position Highlights :
