About the Role: KUB is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to create visually compelling and effective marketing materials that elevate its brand and improve its marketing efforts. This role involves designing for diverse campaigns across multiple platforms, including billboards, social media, digital media, print, signs, and more. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with exceptional design skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for visual storytelling. Experience in brand management is a plus, as maintaining KUB's visual identity will be a key focus. The graphic designer will collaborate with various departments on a wide range of projects and work closely with external vendors to ensure seamless production and delivery of designed material. Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for effectively prioritizing tasks, balancing multiple design requests, and delivering high-quality designs that align with KUB’s goals.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and/or exceed those demands described above.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field such as Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, English, or Business Administration or another related field from an accredited four-year college or university
Strong design, writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint
Must have the ability to work independently and cooperatively on projects in a timely manner
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Preferred Requirements
One (1) or more years of related work experience in marketing, graphic design, and/or communications
Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suites
Experience working with social media platforms for business
Experience in marketing products and sharing information at community events
Experience following style guidelines and the ability to learn and follow KUB guidelines for internal and external publications
Strong initiative and attention to detail, along with fact-finding or research experience
