About the Role: This position is intended to support the Facilities Management staff by gathering data and inspecting facilities as required on capital and O/M projects. Duties may include but will not be limited to development and tracking of asset maintenance and replacement programs such as housekeeping, landscaping, HVAC replacement, roof replacement, paving, etc. for all of KUB Facilities. Projects will include facility designs and support of existing and future facility projects and programs. Utilizes Excel and Word for data capturing and data updates and asset management software to track key performance indicators. Assists with utility records research, data validation, and problem resolution for existing facilities. Must be flexible in performing daily tasks and accepting additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work; exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Physical demands for a specific position within this classification may vary and / or exceed those demands described above.
Minimum Requirements
Must be and maintain full-time student status of an accredited college or university pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree
Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
Have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Good oral and written communications
Must possess basic computer skills
Preferred Requirements
Pursuing a business-related undergraduate or graduate degree
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to write reports/summaries/articles requiring minimal review
Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint
Experience with Tableau or PowerBI
Prior experience working in an office/administrative environment
