Eligibility Checklist:
- Time for training: (Registered Behavior Technician preferred) or commitment and ability to obtain the RBT certification in the first 3-4 weeks of employment.
- Eligible to sit for the RBT exam: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, pass a Level 2 background check, complete a 40-hour training, and pass a competency assessment.
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license are required to protect personal health information from being compromised during in-home sessions.
- Physical requirements: critical to keep both you and our clients out of harm’s way. You must be physically capable of performing various activities such as running, sitting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 30 lbs. You must also be able to administer first aid and CPR in emergencies.
- Experience: You should have prior knowledge of autism or other developmental disorders and experience with children or teens.
