Job Summary:

The Junior Data Engineer is responsible for assisting in the development, optimization, and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting business intelligence efforts. This role involves working with databases, dbt, and Power BI for reporting, as well as contributing to C# integrations and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and database management, with a willingness to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries and database structures.
• Support the building and management of ETL pipelines using dbt for efficient data transformations.
• Contribute to Power BI reporting to enable accurate and timely business insights.
• Help ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across all data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement scalable solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues under supervision, optimizing performance and reliability.
• Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices.
• Aid in C# integration development to connect and streamline data sources.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or a related role (internships or projects accepted).
• Basic proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Understanding of Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
• Exposure to C# for integration development and data processing.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and pipeline automation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
