We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cath Lab Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Racine, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular technology and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field while adhering to infection control standards.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician.
• Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of cath lab equipment.
• Monitor patients for complications during and after procedures, providing post-procedure care as needed.
• Document procedural information, patient data, and interventions accurately in the patient’s medical record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent certification preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and cath lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and provide compassionate patient care.
