Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced emergency care settings and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vitals and responses to treatment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient records
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Indiana (or compact license)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ED experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment
