We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a contract position in Anderson, IN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, ensuring critical patients receive the best medical attention and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including ventilators and cardiac monitors.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Indiana (or compact license).
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
