Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med Surg unit in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
- Provide post-operative care, wound management, and pain management.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and intervene as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Minimum of one year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification (preferred).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
