As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and expand your professional network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to patients in the med/surg telemetry unit.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac status and respond to telemetry readings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Administer medications and provide patient education.
- Document patient care and progress accurately.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Connecticut.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
