Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical to join our team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care strategies
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-hospital care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa (or compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
