Our client is seeking an extremely motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join their dynamic team. If you are motivated to grow your career, they have a seat for you!
Payrate : $35 / hr-$45 / hr
Location : Northbrook, IL
The Role
As a Service Technician, you are on the front lines, ensuring that our clients’ technology systems work flawlessly. Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting everything from basic TV settings to complex lighting programming.
You’re not just fixing problems; you’re providing peace of mind. Your technical expertise, coupled with your ability to educate clients, will make you an invaluable part of a great team.
What a Day Looks Like
Your day is dynamic and client-focused. You’ll start by responding to service requests via the service platform, diagnosing and solving technical issues that vary in complexity.
Beyond troubleshooting, you’ll spend part of your day on-site, offering hands-on support to project teams or conducting system maintenance and updates.
Your insights from the field will also contribute to innovating our service offerings back at the office. Throughout, your ability to interact with clients, understand their needs, and provide clear, helpful guidance is key.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interpersonal skills to educate and engage with clients, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
- Proficiency in the tools and software used by our System Designers / Engineers, applied to real-world troubleshooting and fixes.
This includes Control4, Josh.AI , Lutron (HomeWorks) and networking platforms Ruckus, Ubiquiti and Araknis
A proactive, problem-solving attitude, eager to contribute to team projects and service innovation.
