What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Improvement Coordinator position at KO CONSTRUCTION?
A Site Improvement Coordinator has an analytical mind and great organization skills. By joining KO Construction you’ll support relationships with key stakeholders and draft benchmarks for successful deliverables. You’ll draft work assignments that meet deadline requirements within the forecasted budget. You’ll think ahead – troubleshooting issues before and as they arise throughout the construction and development process. You will be working through organizational processes relating to document management, coordinating interdepartmental communications, and will act as a liaison to drive projects through to completion.
REPORTS TO: Director of Site Improvement
DIRECT REPORTS: None
HOURS: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
WORK LOCATION: Minnetonka, MN
Compensation: $60,000.00

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Provide project coordination for new construction projects and facility expansion activities
- With supervision of Project Manager, you will source, manage, and provide quality control of subcontractors for all work pertinent to construction projects including, but not limited to:
- Preliminary planning and budgeting
- Civil / Site Design
- Permitting, zoning, land disturbance and variances
- Survey work
- Site prep, earthwork, and excavation
- Concrete, electrical and fencing
- Pre-engineered buildings
- Provide document management services and creation of files for internal communication, permits issued and standard operating procedures
- Review civil, structural, and stormwater management plans with project manager
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors
- Coordinate on-site activity: materials staging, site management and access
- Work closely with jobsite personnel to ensure project milestones and other requirements are clear and documented
- Support the invoicing of assigned projects and construction draws as necessary
- Provide transparent and proactive communication through all stages of the project to all involved parties
- Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis
