What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club Lounge Concierge position at Ko Olina Traveler's Lounge?

Ko Olina Resort is seeking energetic, personable individuals with a strong desire to share Hawaii’s unique spirit of aloha with visitors and guests enjoying the exclusive Ko Olina Club Lounge at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. Lounge Concierge will be responsible for ensuring gracious hospitality experiences for all guests.

Interested candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, inspire confidence and exude authenticity during guest and co-worker interactions. Candidates should also have strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for VIP guest service.

Essential duties and responsibilities of Ko Olina Club Lounge Concierge:

· Personal greeting of all guests upon arrival and departure

· Monitor daily Lounge reservations; periodically track and tally Lounge usage

· Touch-less assistance with luggage and package storage

· Ability to provide up-to-date information and/or curated recommendations for Ko Olina Resort and popular attractions, restaurants, shopping venues and activities on O‘ahu

· Familiarization with Hawai’i’s cultural landscape, good sustainability practices (i.e. reducing single use plastics, using reef-friendly sunscreen, etc.), care for Hawai‘i’s natural resources, general ocean safety tips, and other key messages determined by Ko Olina Resort

· Familiarization with on island transportation alternatives; assist with transportation contacts and reservations (as needed)

· Monitor flight arrival and departure schedules for Lounge guests

· Upkeep and maintenance of Lounge seating and self-service areas

· Monitor self-serve snacks, beverages, periodicals and back-of-house inventories

· Maintain Lounge use records including data collection, special requests, etc.

· Superior guest service skills

Basic Qualifications:

· Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Prior hospitality, travel and/or customer service experience

· Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail

· Inherent desire to share Hawai’i’s unique spirit of aloha

· Computer proficient (iOS/Windows-based applications)

· Able to work independently

· Reliable, honest, efficient team player

· Able to maintain confidentiality, and comply with and uphold Ko Olina’s policies and procedures

· Should possess legal work authorization in the U.S.

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

· Able to lift 50 lbs

· Able to fulfill TSA airport access requirements

· Bilingual capabilities a plus (i.e. conversational Japanese, Mandarin, Korean)
