What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Carpet Cleaning Technician - Waikoloa position at Koa Restoration & Maintenance?
We are currently seeking skilled Carpet Cleaning Technicians to join our teams across the state of Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have experience operating carpet extraction equipment and have a strong understanding of carpet cleaning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain truck mounted carpet extraction equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform thorough carpet cleaning services at various locations, including luxury resorts, homes, offices, and commercial properties
- Inspect carpets for stains, odors, and damages prior to cleaning
- Use appropriate cleaning solutions and techniques to remove dirt, stains, and odors from carpets
- Moves or assists in the removal of furniture to facilitate cleaning
- Communicate effectively with operations team and address any concerns or issues related to carpet cleaning services
- Performs preventative maintenance on vehicle and equipment to keep in good running condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Safely drive company vehicle to job sites, following all traffic laws and company procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of professional carpet cleaning experience
- At least 1 year of experience operating truck mounted carpet extraction equipment
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques, tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to move, lift, push, pull and carry heavy equipment and materials; average of 50lbs.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; license must be maintained for the duration of the position

Pay: $25 to 30/hour, depending on experience
