We are hiring for several Room Attendants at our Waikoloa, HI location. We are looking for applicants that will be working with our team providing hotel guestroom cleaning.
Job Summary
- Announce yourself when you arrive at the guest room.
- Departure cleaning.
- Empty trash.
- Remove soiled sheets and pillow slips.
- Remove all soiled terries.
- Remove and replace shower curtain and mat.
- Apply chemicals and scrub and clean bathroom walls, floors, and all fixtures including light switches, showerheads, toilets, and basins inside and out.
- Microfiber clean all mirrors.
- Dust all FF&E.
- Empty drawers and wipe clean.
- Reset bed with sheets.
- Reset pillow slips.
- Dust and wipe clean shelves, and closets.
- Reset room.
- Do a once-over to ensure your room is ready for inspections.
- Maintains the cleanliness of assigned areas with the use of basic professional cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals.
- Greets and assists guests at every opportunity.
Job Qualifications
- Ability to orally communicate with team members and management. Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
- Ability to work with people from a variety of different ethnic backgrounds and managerial levels.
- Ability to communicate using radio and cellular phone.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Professional development courses in related fields are preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, and kneeling for extended periods of time are common.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- No facial hair
- No dyed hair
- Hearing and vision are within normal ranges and are essential for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents.
Job Functions (includes, but is not limited to)
- Read, understand, and explain all product's MSDS information sheets.
- Be able to recognize product names.
- Be able to understand and explain manufacturer's recommended use and storage.
- Be able to understand and explain proper procedures in case of emergencies.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Hotel as a room attendant.
