Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Medical / Dental Treatment Planning Assistant
Koala Center For Sleep & TMJ Disorders offers a dental solution for Obstructive Sleep Apnea & TMJ Disorders using Oral Appliance Therapy. We provide a non-surgical, non-pharmacological alternative to CPAP and Surgery. Although we are dental practice, we have narrowed our focus to snoring, sleep and TMJ therapies. We offer treatment in a medical model and bill medical insurance on behalf of our patients.
Exciting career opportunity for a highly organized, high energy and patient-centric individual in our dental sleep medicine practice located in the Peoria, IL, area. As a Treatment Planner, you will work closely with our patients and our dentist, to make sure that our patients experience exceptional care and guidance through the treatment process.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
- Ensures that all patients receive the services that they need.
- Ensures that no patient falls through the cracks.
- Ensures that all patients have firm financial arrangements in order that the office is paid for the services provided.
- Ensures that the patient is able to get to treatment as quickly as possible.
- Ensures that all patient communication is well documented.
- Communicates well with the dentist and the team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to build a rapport with patients and referring providers, walk patients through the treatment process step-by-step to answer any questions that they may have, secure financial arrangements however needed for each individual patient need, and maintain exemplary record keeping skills for efficiency and success!
Your positive teamwork will also be responsible for ensuring smooth patient flow resulting in a positive patient experience that invites patient and physician referrals.
This exciting position may also include participating in presentations to help educate the public about the dangers of untreated sleep apnea and TMJ disorders. Dental, medical, or sleep office experience preferred.
