At Koala Insulation of Eastern Carolina, we are looking for an experienced, driven, proactive salesperson with a background in construction sales to estimate insulation projects with the goal of a one-visit close. The ideal candidate will have a background in consultative sales and will work with customers to sell the insulation services that best fit their needs. The candidate will also have business development skills including establishing relationships with custom builders and commercial contractors. Knowledge of construction basics, and understanding of code requirements and other building skills is preferred.
Koala Insulation of Eastern and Coastal Carolina will offer uncapped commission pay based on profitability targets for booked business. We will provide you with all the requisite technology to hit the ground running, as well as on-the-job training on our product offering and sales process.

Duties/Responsibilities
1. Accurately estimate residential attics, walls and crawlspaces by documenting with video, images and measurements.
2. Inputs data into CRM.
3. Travels to residential, commercial, and government sites within territory to complete the estimation process for our insulation services.
4. Generate new construction leads through calls, outreach and networking with building industry contractors. Use product samples, support, and technology to assist you in closing the sale.
5. Networking to build referral, contractor and other relationships within territory.
6. Performs other related duties as required.
7. Attend company training and ongoing weekly team meetings.
Required Skills/Abilities
1. Ability to identify, develop and reach out to new leads.
2. Excellent follow up and lead tracking.
3. Ability to interpret blueprints is preferred, but not required.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
7. Experience using a CRM preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior Consultative Sales experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, crouching, and manuevering through attics and crawlspaces.
- Must be able to access and navigate the job site.
- Jobsite environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
