This position within the company is expected to consistently perform high-quality insulation installation but don’t worry, we will teach you all you need to know! Just be ready to learn! As you climb the ladder with Koala, you will learn how to identify and correct spray foam issues and providing coaching to more junior installers! We want you to progress and “climb the ladder” with us! We work as a team to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Adheres to Jobsite safety in accordance with all federal, state, and local occupational and health and safety laws. Ensures that the rig is safely driven to Jobsite locations.
• Removes and installs insulation based on the specifications of each job. Follows standard operating procedures with equipment set up and operation. Completes a high-quality job while maintaining efficiency.
• Has working knowledge of all types of insulation installation (blown-in, spray foam, and battes) and consistently performs quality checks.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues in the field alongside Crew Leader.
• Communicates professionally with customers. Maintains a professional image and thoroughly cleans Jobsite upon completion of the job.
• Continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Provides instruction and training to junior team members.
• Communicates any issues to Operations Manager. Performs other related duties as required.
• Assist in preparing and cleaning job site before and after.
• Manage and run a crew as well as the complete operation of rig.
• Load and log materials onto truck and makes notations of returned materials.
• Operates equipment that injects foam insulation by carrying/ holding a hose up to 150 feet long and weighs up to 56 pounds.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
• Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to troubleshoot, operate, and maintain equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior experience in manual labor position (landscaping, roofing, warehouse, etc. preferred but not required)
• Experience driving truck and rig (preferred).
• Ability to listen and learn! We are happy to teach the right candidates!

*Salary will be adjusted according to your previous experience.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
