What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge?
Kobe Steakhouse & Lounge is a Japanese American fusion restaurant with live music and entertainment. We are currently looking to hire experienced bartenders
capable of providing efficient and excellent guest services.

Requirements and Responsibilities include:
- Minimum of 5 years of bartending experience in high-volume bar and/or restaurant.
- Available to work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to take food orders and serve while bartending.
- Reporting to work on schedule and wearing a clean uniform at all times. Continues to practice personal hygiene methods before and during all work shifts.
- Checking identification to verify legal age requirements of all customers
- Monitoring all patrons for alcohol intake to appropriate levels
- Present a friendly and efficient image to our customers. Greet them, make suggestions, and practice service to enhance their bar experience.
-Make specific notes of customer's drinks without making mistakes as well as be able to recommend drinks, and create classic or innovative drinks meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Process guests order using the Kobe Steakhouse POS machine and ensure every drink is being served correctly and on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all drinks are served correctly and promptly to customers. Make sure to check up on them regularly to make sure they have everything they need.
- Maintain bar area and stations accordingly to Kobe standards.
- Teamwork plays a crucial role in Kobe. Make sure to treat not only customers but your own coworkers with respect. Work with fellow employees as needed.
- Communicates with the Manager on duty if guests express concern or dissatisfaction. Never match the customer's tone should it become riled up or aggressive.
- Correctly presents the customer's check and processed payment without error or delay.
- Performs all duty and maintains standards as expected of the station and required by the manager.
Physical Demands:
- All minimum qualification to perform essential job functions including but not limited to:
- The ability to carry, lift and handle heavy trays, plate, and other equipment, ranging to approximately 45 pounds.
- Must be able to kneel, squat, stoop, etc in order to reach items on a frequent basis.
- Must be prepared and able to stand and walk constantly for the allocated shift time
- Must also have full mobility of fingers to operate point - of - sale equipment as well as prepare/serve food and beverage items.
