Material Handler
Location: Bowling Green, KY, 42101
Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler and help ensure the smooth flow of materials and products across the production and distribution process. You'll be responsible for pulling orders from inventory, delivering materials, and supporting a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Functions:
- Operate forklifts to safely transport materials and supplies.
- Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Deliver and open materials to work centers, ensuring the in-process inventory is maintained.
- Perform pre-use inspections on material-handling equipment and assist with repairs as needed.
- Contribute to team success by completing tasks and supporting team goals.
- Transport materials to and from work centers as required.
Job Related Functions:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and scheduling skills.
- Effective time management to meet shipment deadlines.
- Adhere to safety standards and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs. regularly.
- Basic data entry skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
