Essential Functions - Fleet Mechanic
Repairs and maintains all company vehicles, buses, motor coaches and support equipment.
- Repair and inspect vehicles with an emphasis on preventivemaintenance.
- Accurately record all work in fleet management software
- Ensures operation of maintenance equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer'sinstructions; troubleshooting malfunctions and scheduling repairs. This includes all shop equipment and facilityequipment.
- Maintains safe working conditions by keeping areas of the shop clean and free of unneededitems.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish jobresults.
- PAID training to learn how to drive a schoolbus.

Requirements
- 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
Skills/Knowledge/Ability
- This job requires a combination of standing, sitting, climbing, bending and walking
- Job requires excellent visual and auditory skills for inspections andsafety.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs at least once perday.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction fromsupervisors.
