What You Will Do
- Lead the team by utilizing the PBM frameworks to enhance knowledge, understanding, and value creation at the site.
- Actively mentor and empower direct reports by providing regular feedback, identifying development opportunities, and fostering a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and skill enhancement.
- Knowledgeable and current on all internal Koch/DEPCOM EHS Standards and relevant state and federal environmental law.
- Cultivate strong EHS-centric customer relationships through proactive communication, tailored solutions, collaborative problem-solving, transparency, feedback, and continuous improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service working to become a preferred provider to our customers, subcontractors and vendors
- Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and determining corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence and makes recommendations for correcting unsafe conditions and actions.
- Maintain operational integrity and our commitment to safety by compiling comprehensive safety data into actionable reports, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring compliance with client and site requirements.
- Maintain knowledge regarding project location details ensuring proper oversight and review of company programs and compliance for contractual requirements.
- Oversee the development and use of risk assessment methods/systems for anticipating, identifying, and evaluating hazards on site - Drive and assist with the mitigation of identified gaps, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the development and execution of Environmental, Health and Safety strategies in alignment with EHS initiatives for site.
- Valid driver’s license
- OSHA 510 Certification
- Previous safety manager experience
- OSHA 500 certification
- CHST or higher BCSP certification
- NFPA 70E
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthy & Safety
