What are the responsibilities and job description for the CIT Supervisor (Poultry Plant) position at Koch Foods, Inc.?
- Work with Production, Maintenance, QA, Accounting and R&D Staff to continuously monitor the production of new and existing food products to ensure and improve yield and process efficiency.
- Monitor production and production processes on all production lines.
- Maintain yield and trend data for every product produced.
- Maintain total yield and trend summaries by month and year for the production facility as a whole and for each production line.
- Work with production as needed to identify and educate on maximazation of yield and efficiency.
- Work with R&D to identify functional ingredients that will improve yield.
- Work with production and equipment suppliers to identify processing equipment, equipment modifications or the development of new equipment that will improve processing efficiency through labor reduction, increased volume or yield improvement.
- Prepare reports and presentations on a weekly and monthly basis identifying yield and production issues with action plan(s) for addressing said issues.
- Drive metrics, root cause analysis and corrective actions for process/quality problems and customer complaints.
- Assist scheduling in setting all through puts for each sku and line.
- All other relevant tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma; College Diploma preferred.
- 3 years of working poultry plant experience.
- Highly motivated with a proactive work ethic.
- Bi-lingual language skills preferred.
- Computer skills in Microsoft word, Excel and Power Point.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and weekends).
- Willingness to travel.
