What are the responsibilities and job description for the Complex Purchasing Manager (Poultry Industry) position at Koch Foods, Inc.?
Manage all purchasing systems and procedures.
Evaluate vendor quotes with appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques, ensuring quality, price, delivery and service.
Manage, and monitor procurement reporting systems.
Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a fair price, while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
Review and resolve vendor claim and contracts for conformance to policy.
Prepare and review contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legality, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
Arrange buy-backs of surplus materials.
Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and price, and prepare market analysis reports.
All other relevant duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in any related business field (in lieu of education, 10 years progressive procurement experience considered)
Purchasing related certification preferred
7 year(s) purchasing experience required, preferably in poultry industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills
