What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Manager position at Koch Foods, Inc.?
- Primarily responsible for the overall operations of the QA Department, including regulatory and quality programs, while ensuring all customer requirements are met.
- Ensure customer quality requirements and act as a liaison between customers and plant management.
- Ensure federal, poultry, sanitation and HACCP regulations are enforced, and act as a liaison between FSIS and plant management.
- Oversee and provide leadership and development for HACCP Coordinators, QA Supervisors and QA Technicians.
- Oversee QA related audits.
- All other relevant tasks to the job.
- Bachelor's degree in Poultry, Food, or Animal Science or other closely related field of study required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- HACCP certification required.
- 4 years managerial leadership experience required.
- Quality Assurance experience in the food industry, and ideally in a poultry or meat processing environment.
- Technically proficient, and an advanced user of Excel.
