What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waste Water Manager position at Koch Foods, Inc.?
- Responsible for ensuring all water leaving the water treatment facility meets the requirements set forth by local and state regulations.
- Ensure Environmental Manager is informed of all changes in water quality and/or engineering processes.
- Maintain operational logs, performing maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain treatment systems, and perform operational maintenance and maintain records.
- Provide scheduling, training and support of team members.
- Analyze operational data determining changes and improvements needed to accomplish objectives.
- Ensure wastewater samples are collected and sent to lab for determination of permit compliance.
- All other relevant duties to the job.
- Class 2 Wastewater Operator Certificate required, Class 1 Certificate preferred.
- Technical certificate or relevant college courses preferred.
- 7 years wastewater experience, preferably in a poultry or meat processing environment.
- 4 years supervisory experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead by example, coach, mentor and motivate team members.
