In this dynamic role, you'll harness your welding skills with GMAW and GTAW processes while actively contributing to the Koch-Glitsch safety program. You'll keep our shop running smoothly by maintaining a clean workspace and interpreting intricate blueprints and details. Enjoy the variety and challenge of being cross-trained in different shop areas, all while supporting our mission to meet customer and company goals. Safety is paramount, and you'll ensure every process is executed with the utmost care using proper safety controls and PPE. If you have GMAW and GTAW welding experience, can pass critical welding and blueprint tests, and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
2nd Shift: Tuesday - Friday: 4:30pm - 3:00am PLUS a $2.00 shift premium

Our Team

What You Will Do
- Welding with GMAW and GTAW processes
- Actively participate in Koch-Glitsch safety program
- Maintain clean shop and work area
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and details
- Will be cross trained in different areas of the shop as required
- Providing production and support to meet customer and company goals
- Ensure all processes are carried out with the required use of safety controls and PPE
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and details
- Working knowledge of using both standard and metric tape measures
- GMAW and GTAW Welding experience
- Technical School Welding Certificate
- Robotic Welding Experience
- Ability to squat, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment
