The Equipment Technology and Services (ET&S) business within Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an Americas Controller to support our Western Hemisphere businesses. The Controller will play a critical role in leading the Americas team to drive accurate and timely financial reporting, provide a meaningful framework tracking detail project profitability, and ultimately, creating value for Koch and KES. The successful candidate will be a principled entrepreneur, championing transformation by defining what good looks like, motivating the regional organization to constantly improve results and drive durable value by applying Principle Based Management.
This position will be located Wichita, KS and will report to the ET&S Global Controller.

This position will be located Wichita, KS and will report to the ET&S Global Controller.
What You Will Do
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of accountants and analysts
- Partner with ET&S Business Finance team and ET&S business operations teams to drive results and anticipate business needs
- Drive the financial reporting process and challenge global teams to innovate / automate where valuable
- Lead the financial close process for the Americas and collaborate with the global controller network to drive improvements, harmonize processes, and solve issues
- Guide leadership and accounting staff to ensure proper controls and compliance with US GAAP
- Serve as primary contact for audits and provide timely responses to audit findings
- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations ensuring account balances are correct and adequately supported
- Ensure the accurate Gross Margin and Actuals reporting
- Own Revenue Recognition processes
- Review cost accounting assumptions, both POC and project-based, and provide guidance for
- Global flash process execution and commentary
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in an Accounting and Financial capability including selection, retention, development, and motivation of a global team
- Deep knowledge of and experience with accounting and financial principles, controls, and processes
- Ability to effectively communicate and present financial concepts to various global audiences
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize and teach economic thinking principles, frameworks, and tools
- Experience working and leading in a complex global organization
- Demonstrated experience in framing and leading organizational transformation within a PBM company
- Ability to see the big picture and understand the organization holistically
- Infor (or other large ERP) usage and implementation experience
- Strong leadership experience with focus on team development and talent planning
