Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is seeking a Senior Space Liaison Analyst to play an integral role in shaping Army space strategies and coordinating with senior leaders across military and defense sectors. This position is at the forefront of U.S. space policy and operations, making a lasting impact on national defense. This person will be the primary point of contact for communication and analysis of critical OSD & HQDA-level space issues. This position demands exceptional technical, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a high level of professionalism.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide expert intelligence analysis and recommendations to the Army Space Directorate for integrating and synchronizing Army space efforts
- Serve as a key communicator between HQDA and the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (SMDCoE) to shape strategic issues in line with the Chief of Staff of the Army's vision.
- Lead and support coordination by monitoring and analyzing all strategic and operational efforts related to system and manning for emerging Army Space capabilities and formations.
- Actively participate in Army, Joint, and OSD-level working groups, providing subject matter expertise in space policy and strategy.
- Serve as the primary action officer for strategic-level initiatives within the HQDA staff.
- Advise on Army positions regarding space policy, programming, requirements, and acquisition, including sourcing and posture decisions.
- Assesses future and ongoing political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.).
- Interact regularly with Space Force, Space Command, and Space Development Agency Staffs to coordinate and integrate space enabled capabilities in support of Army Space Operations Forces.
- Executes reviews and analysis of commercial remote sensing licenses, commercial space launch licenses, and commercial payloads related to Army and national security equities
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in defense, space, or related sectors.
- Expertise in current space architectures and a deep understanding of Army space requirements, as well as space requirements across other military branches, is critical.
- Strong ability to independently develop executive-level products addressing complex technical aspects of space operations.
- In-depth understanding of HQDA staffing processes, with the ability to produce reports and brief senior Army leadership.
- Advanced degrees and military experience are highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience in briefing senior leaders.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required for the position.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
Schedule: M- F, 40 hours per week
