Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is looking for a talented Qualification Test Engineer to join our team supporting a government customer.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for designing and executing Qualification test plans to validate the functionality and quality of complex Army missile systems
- Lead and support component, subsystem, and system-level qualification testing; test types may include Environmental, EMI/EMC, Safety, Human Factors, Live Fire
- Evaluate systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD)
- Identify potential weapon system issues and defects by performing tests on the system's features
- Report findings to ensure the final product meets specifications, working closely with development teams across the product lifecycle
- This position involves physically climbing on top of military vehicles and weapon systems
- 40% Travel
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- BS or BA degree
- 5 years of test and evaluation experience
- Experience with evaluating systems to ensure they meet military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-464)
- Must be a US Citizen
Travel: 40%
Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required
