We need an upbeat and innovative DevOps Engineer to join our technology team at Koddi. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with our software engineers, QA engineers, and other IT team members to ensure successful deployments and operation of services, design and implement our platform infrastructure, and play a major role in our continuous improvement. We need a DevOps Engineer who can merge the barriers surrounding our software development, our testing, and our operations teams.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure for our SaaS platform
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services
- Maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture
- Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
- Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency
- Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards
- Participate in 24 / 7 on-call rotations for mission-critical systems
- Identify infrastructure problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages
- Secure, scale, and manage Linux (and possibly Windows) environments
- Continuously evaluate existing systems against industry standards and make recommendations for improvement
- Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery
- Deliver strategic initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with established goals
- Assist in developing strategic plans for your cross-functional team, aligning with overall business objectives
- Continue to keep the lights on (day-to-day administration)
