KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a highly experienced Commercial Estimator Leader to oversee our estimating department. As a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of mechanical contracting, you will be responsible for managing the estimating process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
- Estimate Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy of estimates generated by the estimating team, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
- Team Guidance and Support: Provide expert guidance and support to junior estimators, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in heating estimation.
- Subcontractor and Supplier Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, establishing partnerships that benefit both parties and drive business growth.
- Estimating Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the estimating process, implementing changes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years' commercial experience in heating estimation or completion of an approved apprenticeship program followed by 3 years' experience as a Journeyman.
- At least 10 years prior estimating experience, showcasing your ability to manage complex projects and teams.
