Traveling Assistant Project Manager – Industrial MEP
Location : Nashville, TN
Primary Function :
Support and assist in managing MEP field projects , ensuring smooth execution and coordination of one large-scale project or multiple smaller projects . Provide administrative, technical, and logistical support to project managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards .
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning, organizing, and staffing key field positions in coordination with project leadership.
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation , ensuring adherence to project objectives and corporate guidelines.
- Act as a liaison between project managers, field teams, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate communication and coordination.
- Monitor and track construction progress , assisting the on-site superintendent in maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Identify and report potential project risks , assisting in implementing corrective measures.
- Attend project meetings, take detailed notes, and support project reporting and documentation .
- Assist in managing financial aspects of contracts , including tracking expenses, rental equipment, and invoice processing.
- Help maintain strong client relationships by ensuring timely responses and project updates.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by project managers and corporate leadership .
