Traveling Industrial Piping Foreman
Location : Nashville, TN
Primary Function :
Supervise and coordinate on-site industrial piping construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards . Must have experience leading crews of 15 on projects valued at $2M .
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and direct daily industrial piping operations on-site, ensuring workflow efficiency and adherence to project plans.
- Supervise and coordinate crew members, lead men, and subcontractors , ensuring productivity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Enforce safety protocols, quality control measures, and OSHA compliance .
- Work closely with superintendents, project managers, and engineers to align project goals and resolve challenges.
- Manage materials, equipment, and manpower to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Conduct site inspections, track project progress , and report updates to leadership.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Monitor and assist subcontractors to ensure work meets contractual and quality requirements .
- Maintain scheduling, inspections, and coordination of project milestones.
- Identify and troubleshoot construction challenges , implementing effective solutions.
