Traveling Industrial Piping Superintendent
Location : Nashville, TN
Primary Function :
Oversee and manage on-site industrial piping construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards . Must have experience managing field supervisors, lead men, and crews of 15 on projects valued at $2M .
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site industrial piping activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Oversee and manage field supervisors, lead men, and crew leaders , ensuring productivity and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, quality control measures, and compliance with industry regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project goals and resolve field-related challenges.
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment usage to maintain productivity and minimize delays.
- Conduct daily site inspections, document progress , and report updates to the project team.
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring work meets contractual and quality requirements .
- Coordinate scheduling, inspections, and project milestones to keep projects on track.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to maintain strong working relationships.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for unforeseen construction or design challenges .
