Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and provide technical oversight for large-scale commercial electrical projects. This role involves managing change-outs, retrofits, and installations of complex electrical and control systems for projects ranging from $100K to $3M. The Superintendent will oversee 10-15 electricians, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise & coordinate work for a team of 10-15 electricians, apprentices, and helpers
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on support for electrical installations
- Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety-first culture
- Train & mentor team members on best practices and injury prevention
- Collaborate with the Electrical Project Manager to assess labor, materials, and work progress
- Ensure project completion aligns with schedule, budget, and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven leadership experience as a Lead Electrician, Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical and control systems
- 7 years of experience in commercial electrical work (preferred)
- Journeyman or Master’s Electrical License (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check
