KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking a skilled Safety & Environmental (EHS) Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain a safe work environment for employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety protocols, environmental compliance, and workplace hazard mitigation.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect work areas, equipment, and machinery to identify potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety training programs to educate employees on safety procedures.
- Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
- Maintain accurate records of safety data and assist with safety audits.
- Ensure employees use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices.
- Support emergency response plans and participate in drills.
Requirements:
- MSHA 48-hour certification required.
- OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Proven experience in a safety role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and environmental laws.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
