Job Summary :
We are seeking an HVAC Estimator to join our talented service team. This person will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of HVAC service and repair projects for residential and commercial clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Consult with Internal clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences.
- Use technical knowledge and experience to accurately estimate the cost of labor, materials, and equipment required for each project.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technicians and project managers, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed and competitive estimates, including breakdowns of costs and timelines, for client review.
- Present estimates to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, including documentation of client communications and any revisions to estimates.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, pricing, and technology to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Assist with other duties as needed, including supporting Service managers and technicians during busy periods.
