Service HVACR & Plumbing Service Sales Estimator
Department: Service
Reports to: Service Chief Estimator
$85,000 base compensation PLUS uncapped commission
Gas Card
Company Vehicle OR $600/month vehicle allowance
Position Purpose:
Provide estimates to replace equipment for existing clients. This role will also market our full service offering through acquiring new business clients or through account management of current accounts.
Previous field experience and working knowledge of mechanical systems, refrigeration, and plumbing to provide solutions for clients required.
Job Responsibilities:(other job duties may be assigned)
- Provide quotes on repairs or replacement of equipment
- Travel to customer locations on regular basis to gather necessary information to create a quote
- Generate new accounts by prospecting and qualifying potential clients
- Develop and maintain client relationships while ensuring client satisfaction
- Work with Project Managers to ensure proper job turnover from estimating to execution
- See job through and follow up with customer upon completion
- Work with other estimators when required to provide a complete estimate as needed
- Presents/prepares/reviews proposals and/or contracts with all buying influences negotiating scope of agreement/project
- Provide field support when needed throughout the job
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree preferred, but not required
- Commercial Field Experience
- NH Gas license
- NH Plumbing license (a plus)
