About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced, Professional Engineer (PE) to mentor and lead a team of four engineers while driving innovative solutions for our manufacturing processes. This is a high-impact role that combines technical expertise, leadership, and industry-specific knowledge to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to a team of four engineers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems within food and beverage manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Oversee the lifecycle of mechanical projects, from initial concept through commissioning, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Conduct regular evaluations of manufacturing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all projects adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in any state (ACI will support licensure transfer to Iowa).
- Extensive experience in food and beverage manufacturing systems design, maintenance, or optimization.
- Proven track record of long-term tenure in professional roles, demonstrating commitment and reliability.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with prior experience managing engineering teams.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within the food and beverage industry.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
